Cookies
1. Necessary
- bb_session keeps you logged in. It is set when you log in or pay, and lasts for 90 days from your last visit.
- bb_ref remembers a friend's referral link for 30 days, so that the discount follows you to checkout.
The form's draft is saved in your browser (local storage), so that you can carry on where you left off.
2. Statistics and ads
We load Google Tag Manager directly, in Google's consent mode. Before you have answered, and if you answer no, Google Analytics and Google Ads set no cookies: they send only signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed and whether the visit came from an ad, and Google uses them to estimate how the ads perform. Meta receives nothing.
If you say yes, Google Analytics counts visits, and Google Ads and Meta measure our ads. Cookies are then set (among others _ga, _gcl_au and _fbp). We ask the first time you visit the site.
If you say yes, Microsoft Clarity also records how the pages are used – clicks, scrolling and movement – so we can see where the site gets in the way. Cookies are then set (_clck and _clsk). In the form where the book is made, all text and all pictures are hidden before anything is sent.
